BLESS

BLESS is a design team founded by Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag. Starting their activities from Berlin, Germany, they are now based in Berlin and Paris. Desiree Heiss was born in 1971, and Ines Kaag was born in 1970. Both studied fashion at university. They met and hit it off in 1993 while still students, and began their collaborative design work in 1995. Their first design was a poster created in 1995, followed by an advertisement for i-D magazine in 1996. This was designated "N°00" and became BLESS's first creation. In 1997, BLESS was established as a company. With a strong conceptual element, they dedicate a lot of time to generating ideas. Rather than creating the very latest, they use past materials through meticulous research to create new value. Their products are numbered, such as "N°00" and "N°05". While also developing original collections and presenting clothing and accessory lines, they are actively involved in project activities.
