MARFA

'MARFA JOURNAL' is a magazine launched by Alexandra Gordienko, a Russian photographer based in London who also works for Purple Fashion. The magazine was inspired by her visit to Marfa, a small town in Texas near the Mexican border, which she discovered during a road trip across America from Los Angeles to Nashville. Marfa, located in the desert, has attracted attention from the art world since the 1960s and is also a capital of anarchic culture. With the motto "By Artists For Artists," it is a casual and personal journal-like magazine created by meeting, talking, and collaborating with hot artists and creators from around the world, mixing high fashion and art.
