MARFA

MARFA JOURNAL is a magazine launched by London-based Russian photographer Alexandra Gordienko, who is also active in Purple Fashion. The magazine was inspired by Marfa, a small town in Texas near the Mexican border, where she stopped during her cross-American road trip from Los Angeles to Nashville. Located in the desert, Marfa has been drawing attention from the art world since the 60's and is a chaotic cultural capital. With the motto "By Artists For Artists", while mixing high fashion and art, it is like a journal (diary) created by directly meeting, talking and playing with hot artists and creators around the world. A casual and personal magazine.
