0fr. (pronounced "Oh-F-R") is a long-established bookstore gallery located in the North Marais district of the 3rd arrondissement in Paris, France. Starting as a free magazine called "0fr" (named after the currency 0 Francs at the time) in 1996, the current bookstore opened in 1998. The name "0fr (open free and ready)" was adopted to reflect its unusual operating style for France: open 365 days a year, 7 days a week. Siblings Alexandre & Marie manage the artist direction and the store. Since its opening, 0fr. has launched over 200 publications and established bookstores and galleries worldwide, always remaining at the heart of trends in Paris's Marais district. People from all over the world visit, drawn by the piles of art books, the aroma of the store, and a desire for Parisian intelligence. Virgil Abloh frequently visited during his lifetime fashion week, and at the KENZO 23-24AW runway show, Tyler, The Creator, seeing an interviewer's 0fr cap, spontaneously commented, "Oh, I love the bookstore!" It is a sacred place in Paris that has continued to weave Parisian intelligence with top designers and world-renowned artists, hosting events like book signings for Sofia Coppola, Raf Simons, and Juergen Teller, and a sauna rider event for the BLESS 25th anniversary book launch.

From November 2024, "0fr. Tokyo Nakameguro" will make its grand debut at our store. We will be offering a weekly delivery of 0fr. publications, rare art books and goods that can only be found in Paris, France, and collaborative items. Please enjoy the Parisian scent and mood that can only be experienced in the Boutique Romantique space, and our permanent 0fr. Paris in-shop space.
