This is the first visual book by Arca, also known as Alejandro Ghersi, a prodigious trackmaker. Its title, "I," reflects the unique sound praised by Björk and Kanye West. This special book, limited to 500 copies, was published in conjunction with the March 2024 Paris event program titled "Arca presents The Light Comes in the Name of the Voice." Featuring the Arca icon on the cover, it is a sublime art collection bound with 12 posters showcasing original artwork and past visuals.

Arca

Arca is an artist, singer, DJ, performer, model, painter, pop diva, and experimental music composer from Venezuela. She has collaborated with numerous musicians, including Björk, Kanye West, FKA twigs, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Rosalía, and Sia. After releasing her critically acclaimed debut album "Xen" in 2014, she signed with XL Recordings in 2017 and released her third studio album, "Arca." Her overwhelming presence and unique creativity continue to send shockwaves not only through music but also fashion and art. Her fourth album, "Kick I," was nominated for a Grammy Award at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021. She has since been active, releasing four works in the "KICK" series all at once. Recently, a project that created a shared space to break preconceived notions, bringing together Arca's close friends and collaborators such as Daito Manabe and Rhizomatiks, visual artist Carlos Sáez, Yunax Lafuente and Sam Rolfes, Tristan Schoon, Landscape, Bronze, and 4DSound, became a big topic of conversation.
