This is a collaborative collection published by 0fr., featuring photographer/artist Marine Neuilly, based in Paris, and text artist Thomas Lélu. Based on the Polaroid photos Marine has been continuously releasing under the name "INITIALES M.N.", Thomas adds humorous and sometimes sharp phrases, lightly illuminating contemporary visual culture that sways between analog and digital, private memories and the internet society. Marine's Polaroids are soft yet raw snapshots that capture "the feel of the moment" that cannot be captured in a studio or on social media. The words Thomas adds bring humor, cynicism, confusion, and sometimes poetic sentiment, giving the photos a new meaning as "unpostable images." This work is a new "dialogue between photography and words" for the post-digital era, where the spontaneity unique to Polaroids intersects with the light critical nature of words.

Marine Neuilly

Parisian DJ/solo artist Marine Neuilly. From making mixes on cassette tapes as a child to her punk activities with the band Les Plastiscines, she has always transcended genre boundaries with a sharp and eclectic ear. Her DJ sets are a kaleidoscopic journey that fluidly moves from Daft Punk to Nelly, and Outkast.
They are interspersed with elements of rock, French variety, funk, disco, movie soundtracks, and pop culture. Her charismatic stage presence has also garnered attention in the fashion world, playing for houses such as Chanel, Dior, Prada, and Miu Miu. Vanity Fair France described her as "the hottest Marine Neuilly, an artist who is establishing her own sound identity."

Thomas Lélu

An artist, writer, and art director based in Paris. He continuously expresses himself with humor and criticality, moving between words and images. His handwritten phrases and short texts are deployed across various media, from social media to gallery spaces, books, and print works, lightly illuminating contemporary visual culture and the habits of communication. With a background in graphic design, his activities are diverse, including writing fiction and essays, curating, and producing videos and photographs. As seen in his early work "Manuel de la Photo Ratée (Manual of Failed Photography)," his gaze towards "discrepancies" and "imperfection" is a theme that runs through his entire body of work. In recent years, through exhibitions at his own gallery space "La Cité" and solo exhibitions/projects both domestically and internationally, he has been re-editing fragments of daily life, words, and images, exploring "unseen emotions and contradictions" in modern society. Thomas Lélu's work re-examines the rhythm of information we unconsciously consume and the nature of words in the SNS era, offering new perspectives with light humor.
