Issue 11 depicts "contemporary poetic realism" through scenes where the everyday and non-everyday intersect, such as medieval castles, idyllic landscapes, high street signs, and bus stops. Photography is by Alasdair McLellan, Johnny Dufort, Nigel Shafran, and Oliver Hadlee-Pearch, with styling by Max Pearmain and Lotta Volkova.
With a focus on paper texture and binding, this magazine has the presence of an art book. It captures the moment where art and fashion merge, both sensually and intellectually.

Middle Plane

A London-based visual magazine that stands at the intersection of art, fashion, and contemporary image expression. Published twice a year, each issue invites different artists and creators as "guest editors" to explore new visual expressions through the magazine format. Since its launch in 2018, Middle Plane has consistently emphasized paper texture and design based on the idea of "print = exhibition space," and has been internationally acclaimed as a publication that straddles the line between art books and fashion magazines. To date, renowned contemporary photographers and stylists such as Nigel Shafran, Alasdair McLellan, Juergen Teller, Lotta Volkova, and Max Pearmain have contributed. By visualizing the "Middle Plane" that emerges between art and daily life, fashion and thought, it quietly yet vividly records the sensibilities of our time.

Returns

As a general rule, we do not accept product returns. In the unlikely event that you receive a defective product or an incorrect item, please contact us first via Instagram DM or email. The return period for defective products is within 7 days of product arrival. In the case of exchanges for defective products or incorrect items, we will bear the shipping costs. In the case of returns due to customer convenience, the customer will bear the shipping costs.
