The five chapters revolve around solo star Ashley and the idol group Siren8, designed for teenagers.

Ashley was originally a quiet, artistic student who was discovered through a school play and quickly propelled into pop stardom.
Once sincere and gentle, her identity gradually became distorted by fame.
Manipulated, isolated, and estranged from herself, she became a ghost to those who once knew her, eventually making a mysterious disappearance.

Siren8 is the antithesis of Ashley's "girl-next-door dreamer" image.
They tour with Ashley but experience an unexplained breakup.

Vuyu is Ashley's quiet, protective best friend.
She is one of the few who knows the real Ashley and continually corrects misinformation that appears on anonymous forums.

Momo is an enthusiastic Ashley fan and persistent researcher.
She creates a viral timeline compiling Ashley's trajectory, which becomes a symbolic record of her "disappearance."

B is a lonely girl from Ashley's school.
She worships Ashley as a "symbol of truth" and writes dozens of letters to protect her.
Her obsession gradually distorts, eventually transforming into violence.
