"Portraits in Paris by Gianluca Tamorri" is a 0fr. publication featuring a selection of over 100 portraits taken by photographer Gianluca Tamorri, based in Italy and Paris, from January to July 2024 in the basement of the 0fr. Grand Gallery. This book offers a glimpse into the real Parisian community, from familiar 0fr. members to designer Niccolo Pasqualetti and Ramdane Touhami, founder of OFFICINE UNIVERSELLE BULY and creative director of WORDS, SOUNDS, COLORS & SHAPES, whose solo exhibition "Insight Paris retrospective" was held at the Grand 0fr Galerie.

Gianluca Tamorri

Gianluca Tamorri, a photographer from Rome, Italy, is known for his delicate style that captures the subtle emotional fluctuations of everyday life and the atmosphere of cities, focusing on landscapes, portraits, and street photography. After studying political science at Sapienza University of Rome, he majored in photography at the Rome School of Photography and gained experience as an assistant to Claudio Porcarelli and Michael James O’Brien. Since 2005, he has been based in Paris and has created numerous series that capture urban memories and travel fragments from his personal perspective. His notable works include "75003," a photo book documenting the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, "That’s Brighter Still," which was shot while traveling in Italy, and "Avant Paris," "Patmos," and "Diary from the Lock-Down," which compile records from various locations. In recent years, he has held exhibitions at galleries and art spaces, including 0fr. Paris, and presented solo exhibitions such as "Insight Paris retrospective." His approach of exploring stories between cities and people, light and shadow, has been highly acclaimed across borders.
